Rocky Mountain Classical Academy, a kindergarten through eighth-grade charter school in the Cimarron Hills neighborhood of Colorado Springs, is seeking donations of used musical instruments to start a band program.

Any instruments, except pianos, are needed.

The school opened in 2006 with a classical approach to education, and leaders want to motivate students to develop an interest in playing musical instruments.

Donations are tax-deductible. The school is at 4620 Antelope Ridge Drive.
