Safeway delivered more than 1,100 turkey breasts and an assortment of side dishes Monday to the Marian House Soup Kitchen, which will feed an estimated 4,400 to 5,500 people in downtown Colorado Springs.

The meals were paid for with donations from Safeway customers over the past month. The donation program, now in its fifth year, continues through the Christmas season.
