James Taylor, Bonnie Raitt pairing up for Denver show, 2018 tour

Singer songwriters and longtime friends James Taylor and Bonnie Raitt will pair up again for a spring and summer tour.

The duo will make a stop at Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre in the Denver suburb of Greenwood Village on May 27.

Taylor's 17th studio album "Before This World" was released in 2015. The musician has won five Grammy Awards and sold more than 100 million records. He first came to fame in 1970 with the single "Fire and Rain" and achieved his first No. 1 hit in 1971 with "You've Got a Friend." Other classic Taylor songs include "Mexico," "Shower the People," "Carolina in My Mind" and "Sweet Baby James."

Raitt, a 10-time Grammy Award winner, released her 17th album "Dig in Deep" in 2016. The singer's long list of hits includes "Something to Talk About," "Nick of Time," "I Can't Make You Love Me" and "Love Sneakin' Up on You."

On Monday, Steely Dan and The Doobie Brothers announced they are teaming up for a June 12 show at Denver's Pepsi Center in what's being called The Summer of Living Dangerously tour. Also, Rod Stewart and Cyndi Lauper will perform Aug. 22 at the Pepsi Center.

The Eagles and Jimmy Buffet will pair up for a June 28 at Coors Field in Denver.
