Joan Osborne to headline MeadowGrass Music Festival

MeadowGrass Music Festival has secured its headlining act - Joan Osborne.

The singer-songwriter, well-known for her 1995 single "One of Us," will perform May 27 during the three-day festival north of Colorado Springs. She and her acoustic trio will play original material as well as selections from her upcoming album "Joan Osborne Sings the Songs of Bob Dylan."

Other new musical additions announced Monday include Great American Taxi, which played at the festival in 2013, Heather Maloney, Phil Wiggins and George Kilby Jr., Covenhoven and Zach Heckendorf with Acoustic Ambush.

The family-friendly weekend is May 26-28 at La Foret Conference and Retreat Center in Black Forest and includes music workshops, activities for kids, vendors and on-site camping. Tickets are on sale now; visit meadowgrass.org.

May 26 - Ben Sollee and Kentucky Native, The Black Lillies, Gipsy Moon, Zach Heckendorf with Acoustic Ambush, The Kinnikinniks and Mo' Mungus

May 27 - Joan Osborne, Parsonsfield, The Accidentals, Covenhoven, Joe Johnson, Escaping Pavement, Xanthe Alexis and Milo Hayes Meld

May 28 - Paper Bird, Great American Taxi, Heather Maloney, Phil Wiggins and George Kilby Jr., in/PLANES, Malcolm Lucard, Bruce Hayes and Woodshed Red
