A man was found dead Friday night “with at least one gunshot wound” in an apartment at Pine Creek Village in southeast Colorado Springs, said police spokesman Lt. Howard Black.

The shooting was reported shortly before 7:30 p.m. at the complex near Chapman Drive and Academy Park Loop, Black said.

No arrests have been announced.

“All individuals are accounted for. We’re not looking for anyone outside of the folks that we already have detained,” he said. “We’re very comfortable that we have a fairly good understanding of what has occurred inside this apartment.”

If the death is ruled a homicide it would be the seventh this year.

Police this week are also investigating the death of a person whose decomposed body was found Wednesday along Fountain Creek southeast of East Las Vegas and South Tejon streets, but have not said if it was a homicide.
