Page the Elephant is turning 32 and that means she’s heading back to Acacia Park in downtown Colorado Springs to celebrate.

Page will be in Acacia Park on Wednesday from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. with the Colorado Renaissance Festival. The event will also feature music and comedy.

What began as a light-hearted way to entertain kids in the YMCA, the Boys and Girls Club and other summer programs has blossomed into a full tradition says Jim Paradise, director of marketing.

“It’s fantastic. Just to be able to walk out and see not only the elephant but some of the entertainers right there in the park,” he said. “The feedback has been tremendous.”

Those who can’t make it to see Page can see her in Larkspur at the Colorado Renaissance Festival, which is in its 41st season.
