Pikes Peak Highway open for sunrise views at the summit Saturday

If you missed the first opportunity in July, experience Pikes Peak summit at sunrise when day breaks on Saturday for incredible photo opportunities.

Extra Pikes Peak Highway crews will be on hand for the rush when the gate opens at 5:15 a.m., giving visitors time to get to the summit before the sun, weather permitting.

Tickets will be available at the gate: $15 adults 16+, $5 for children 6-15, carload of up to 5 $50.

Sorry, anglers. The North Slope won't open for fishing until 7:30 a.m. Saturday.
