Write away

I have a stationery addiction that can never be satisfied, which is why I'm loving Happy Mail, a monthly subscription box filled with adorable greeting cards, stickers and art prints worthy of displaying on your desk. But even if you're new to letter-writing, a subscription box is the perfect introduction. For less than $20 (including shipping), Happy Mail shows up on my doorstep every month. A few of my favorite pieces from the most recent box were an adorable Mother's Day card, a congratulatory card decorated with bras that says "bra-vo!" inside, two birthday cards and a floral poster featuring the words "bloom, bloom, bloom" - just in time for spring. Learn more at shop.abeautifulmess.com/happy-mail - but also, consider shopping locally: Two of my favorite stationery stores, Ladyfingers Letterpress and CJ Kard, are downtown. ~Ellie Mulder
