Ice skating fun returns Tuesday with Skate in the Park at Acacia Park. And you don't have to be a pro to have fun at this unique downtown rink. A $10 admission includes skates and those younger than 4 are free with skating adults. Tree lighting is Nov. 18. - Linda Navarro

Who can resist the aroma of baking bread? Learn how to make whole grain artisanal bread at 6 p.m. Thursday at Colorado State University Extension, 17 N. Spruce St. For $25, you will receive samples, recipes and tips for making whole grain bread at altitude. Registration closes at noon Wednesday.
