Police are still on the lookout for a truck suspected to be in a hit-and-run crash Saturday that killed 57-year-old Mario Michael Wells.

The truck is described as a late '90s, early 2000s model Ford pickup truck that is either maroon or maroon and tan, police said Monday. The truck has a honeycomb-shaped front grill and a large white water tank in the bed, surrounded by a cage.

The crash took place at U.S. 85 and Fontaine Boulevard. Wells succumbed to his injuries Sunday morning, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Fountain police at 382-8555. Anonymous tips can be left with Crime Stoppers at 634-7867.
