Libraries are wonderful. Period. And one specialty library at the top of the stacks is Colorado's Talking Book Library, the Colorado Association of Libraries' 2017 Library of the Year. It also recently was named best in the country for 2017 by the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped, part of the Library of Congress. In El Paso County, it serves almost 750 patrons who can't read standard print and 7,200 patrons statewide who use audiobooks, Braille books and large print books. This summer, the library is part of a national reading program. myctbl.cde.state.co.us
