Wednesday, The Pixies will bring their iconic alt-rock to Denver's Fillmore Auditorium. The band achieved a decades-spanning success with 1989's "Doolittle" before breaking up in 1991. They got back together in 2004, touring on the "old" music, and released albums "Indie Cindy" in 2014 and "Head Carrier" in 2016. "If there's anything I could say to any audience that hasn't seen the Pixies, I could say that we're not an anti-social band. We are just delivering what we do best, which is the music," drummer David Lovering told the Detroit Metro Times this month. The band's song legacy includes "Here Comes Your Man," "Where Is My Mind?" and "Wave of Mutilation." The show starts at 8. Tickets are $49.75-$55 on ticketmaster.com.
