Steely Dan, The Doobie Brothers announce Denver show; Rod Stewart, Cyndi Lauper also teaming up

Fans of 1970s and '80s rock and pop music have a few more concert options in Denver this summer thanks to two announcements Monday.

Steely Dan and The Doobie Brothers are teaming up for a June 12 show at Denver's Pepsi Center in what's being called The Summer of Living Dangerously tour that starts May 10 in Charlotte, N.C.

Tickets range from $49.50-$129.99 and go on sale 10 a.m. Friday at A pre-sale will go live for Citi cardholders at 10 a.m. Wednesday.

The tour is Steely Dan’s first since Walter Becker, who co-founded the band with surviving member Donald Fagen, died in September 2017.

Also announced Monday, Rod Stewart and Cyndi Lauper will perform Aug. 22 at the Pepsi Center. 

Tickets to the Stewart-Lauper concert range from $35-$199.50 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at A pre-sale will go live to Citi cardmembers at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
